1. Adaptability of current wheat cultivars

1.1. Exchanging wheat cultivars adapted to the region;
1.2. Making field trials with selected cultivars (Observations: winter survival. heading time. plant height. lodging. yield)

2. Biotic Stress Resistance

2.1. Leaf rusts and Powdery mildew (Collecting data observation)
2.2. Leaf spot diseases (collecting leaf samples)

3. Stress diagnostic methods

3.1. Hydrophonic culture in selective solutions + chl. Fluorescence method
3.2. Chlorophyll analyzises. Fluorescence method - raining for experts

4. Training lectures in USAMBV to students about the most important results in molecular plant breeding

4.1. Using molecular markers in wheat breeding for resistance (experts from GK and BRC Szeged)
4.2. Training Romanian young researchers and students (USAMVB Leaf diseases educational materials)
4.3. Practical training in different experimental fields: Timisoara (Cambic Chernozem), Cenad (Vertic Chernozem), Fibiş (Red Haplic Luvisol), Bacova/Buziaş (Stagnic Vertisol)
